1. Main function
ال wrapping test is a ductility test which is employed to evaluate the ability of metallic wire to undergo plastic deformation during wrapping. The test consists of winding a wire to a specified number of turns around a mandrel of specified diameter to form a closely wrapped helix.
This machine is used to do wrapping test of 0.1mm – 10mm steel wire, galvanized steel wire, copper and copper alloy line of contact, aluminum wire, high strength wire, إلخ. It also can be used for adhesion test of galvanized coating test. في المعيار, it conforms to ISO7802: 2013: Metallic Material– Wire-Wrapping Test. The test consists of winding a wire to a specified number of turns around a mandrel of the diameter specified in the relevant standard to form a closely wrapped helix. It may also include a specified sequence of windings and un-windings, or even re-windings. It provides reliable measuring method for wire manufacturers and users.
