Panimula:
This WDW Series Computerized Electronic UTM adopts double columns and tabletop type structure, it is company controlled servo motor for loading and unloading. It can be used for wide width strength (WW tensile) and elongation (ASTM D4595), grab strength and elongation (ASTM D4632), static CBR puncture (ASTM D6241), trapezoidal tear (ASTM D4533), etc test of geotextiles.
ASTM D4595 Geotextile Tensile Testing Machine is a testing standard for testingwide width geotextile specimens including woven fabrics, nonwoven fabrics, layeredfabrics, knit fabrics, and felts that are used for geotextileapplication. Wide width specimen may be prepared wet or dry. A Universal Testing Machine which can pull at a Constant Rate of Extension (CRE) is required as well as the necessary grips with wide-width jaws to secure the sample.
