Ang cupping testing machine is mainly used for testing the plastic deformation performance of the sheets and the thin strips in the process performance test of metal sheets and thin strips. The testing machine can meet the requirement of international standard ISO20482: 2003 Metallic materials-Sheet and strip-Erichsen Cupping Test.
The Cupping FLC FLD Test Machine a test method applied in the metalworking industry and is used to determine the ductility of sheet metals and strips.
For the performance of cupping tests on sheet metal a spherical drawing punch is pressed into a clamped metal sheet until a crack appears. The cupping test is used to assess drawing formability.
