Introduction

This WAW serries 1000KN Testing Machine Bolt Tensile is widely used for tensile test for fastener bolt nut screw. 

It adopts 4 columns with chrome plated and 2 leading screws, high stiffness, more stable.Press button operated hydraulic tensile grips, easy operate.

It’s computer controlled servo hydraulic type, the piston goes up and high precision load cell directly measuring testing force, encoder measuring displacement and electric extensometer measuring specimen’s extension. The machine is calibrated according to ISO 75001 and ASTM E4. 

It can conform to testing standard such as ASTM A193 DIN EN ISO 898-1, ASTM F606-1, ASTM A370, ASTM A 325, ASTM A 490, DIN EN ISO 3506-1 etc.

What is the tensile strength of ASTM A193 bolt?

ASTM A193 defines both SI (Metric) and inch-pound units. Grade B7 is a heat-treated chromium-molybdenum low-alloy steel with minimum tensile strength requirement of 125 ksi (860 Mpa), yield 105 ksi (720 Mpa), and maximum hardness of 35HRC.

What grade bolt is A193?
ASTM A193 Grade B7bolts and threaded studs are manufactured from a chromium-molybdenum steel and are quenched and tempered (heat treated) to develop the desired mechanical properties (strength). Grade B7 is the most common grade of A193 bolts used in construction.

Selection will depend upon design, service conditions, mechanical properties, and high temperature characteristics. Tests to determine high temperature properties shall be made in accordance with Test Methods E 21, E 139, and E 292, and Practices E 150 and E 151.
