ASTM D4595 Geotextile Wide-width Tensile Tester
Wide-Width Geotextile Tensile Testing Machine ASTM D4595

Introduction:
This WDW Series Computerized Electronic UTM adopts double columns and tabletop type structure, it is company controlled servo motor for loading and unloading. It can be used for wide width strength (WW tensile) and elongation (ASTM D4595), grab strength and elongation (ASTM D4632), static CBR puncture (ASTM D6241), trapezoidal tear (ASTM D4533), etc test of geotextiles.
This test method is an index test used to measure the force required to puncture a geotextile and geotextile-related products with a 50 mm diameter cylindrical probe. The dimensions of the probe provide a multidirectional force on the geotextile.
NOTE 1: This test is also commonly known as CBR Puncture Test.
This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
